CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow and back.

All colors begin with white, to which different colors are added to absorb (subtract) the amount of light that is reflecting. Exactly the opposite of the properties of RGB color.

- It use light absorption rather than reflection in RGB.

- Cost minimizing

Disadvantage of CMYK
- Shade variation
- Improper mixing color
