Numbering

  • A number system defines a set of values used to represent a quantity.
  • Assigning a number to a object to identify or indicate that object in a series.
  • Numbers are always written to the left.


Rules of numbering

  • Using the comma in large number.
  • Don’t start a sentence with a numeral.
  • Centuries and decades should be spelled out.
  • If the number is rounded or estimated, spell it out.
  • Two numbers next to each other can't be write one number should write in numerals.
  • Ordinal numbers and consistency.
